Thomas Salyers founded South Shore Compliance Consulting, out of a passion for Federal Procurement Regulation. South Shore's mission is to provide straightforward, cost-effective solutions to regulatory requirements facing commercial and non-profit entities.
Mr. Salyers has over 35 years of Federal contracting experience. Before his consulting business, he served as a Director of Federal Contract Consulting for a regional CPA firm for over 10 years, and held various positions at several major aerospace & defense contractors for over 25 years.
Thomas has hands on experience in resolving a broad range of contract and grant administration requirements and he provides advice, training and consulting services to both small and large Government contractors. South Shore Compliance specializes in adequate accounting systems, DCAA/DCMA liaison, indirect rates, incurred cost proposals (e.g. DCAA ICE Model), policies and procedures, cost/price bids & proposals, FAR/CAS compliance, CAS Disclosure Statements, Agency supplements to the FAR, such as DFARS, DEARS and HHSAR, etc.
